Is Hell real?

Is hell real?fire

In most cultures and religions we find some kind of concept of “hell” – a place where the unrighteous go after life for punishment fortheir wrong doings while they were alive.  For ages people have been asking the question “Does Hell really exist, and where is this Hell?”

People don’t want to believe in Hell, we want to believe that we will go to a wonderful place, where there is no more pain and suffering, a “Heaven” like place, but what is the truth?

Scientists claim that, while drilling through the earth’s crust, drilled into Hell!

There are many scriptures in the Bible that also talks about Hell.  Here is just two of them:

Luk 16:20  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, who was laid at his gate, full of sores

Luk 16:21  and desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. But even the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luk 16:22  And it happened that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich one also died and was buried.

Luk 16:23  And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luk 16:24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame.

Luk 16:25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted and you are tormented.

Luk 16:26  And besides all this, there is a great chasm fixed between you and us; so that they desiring to pass from here to you cannot, nor can they pass over to us from there.

Luk 16:27  And he said, I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house,

Luk 16:28  for I have five brothers, so that he may testify to them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luk 16:29  Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them.

Luk 16:30  And he said, No, father Abraham, but if one should go to them from the dead, they would repent.

Luk 16:31  And he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded, even though one rose from the dead.

Opn 21:8 But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

So you don’t believe the Bible’s credibility?  Ok, lets look at REAL people who went to Hell and lived to tell the tale.  Here’s just two out of dozens you will find.

I found this great quote while doing research on this topic:

“People don’t like to hear about hell. But I’m here to tell you that if Jesus is not your Lord and Savior, you are on your way to hell. Some of you will be upset at this bad news. You think that I’m all gloom and doom. Tell me this…if your house were on fire, would you want me to let you know? Of course you would. You’d probably thank me for telling you. Well, if you go to hell, YOU will be the one on fire.”

I’ve read dozens of testimonies of people who died on operating tables, went down into the depths of Hell, and lived to tell the tale as well as testimonies from Doctors who, just before a person “dies”, starts screaming in pain and confessing the truth of where they went.  Unfortunately not all were brought back to life by the doctors and they are there now, wishing they would have only listened to articles like this to tell the Truth.

Think about it…how many people have died that you personally knew?  Do you think they’re in Hell?  Do you think they want to warn you so you don’t have to be there as well?  The only way to be saved from this terrible place is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior.  Do you know that if you do not belong to Jesus Christ, you belong to Satan?  There is only two ways, nothing in between.  If you ignore Jesus Christ, you WILL go to Hell.

Now you will tell me “A loving God could never let people suffer in such a horrible place for eternity!” The answer is simple:  God does NOT want you to go to Hell!  You go to Hell because of your sins!   God never intended anyone to go to Hell, as Hell was created for the Devil and his angels:

Mat 25:41  Then He also shall say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.

God is Holy and don’t allow sin in His Kingdom, therefore if you die without accepting Jesus Christ as the One who died for you for your sins so that you will not receive everlasting punishment for your sins, you will be banned from the presence of god forever.

Think about this…God, out of profound love for you – a sinner who has transgressed His commandments – let His own Son be sacrificed for YOUR sins! Jesus wasn’t a sinner. He never even sinned once!   He didn’t die for Himself. He died for you, to save YOU. That’s why He is called the Saviour. Because He SAVES from hell!  He can save you too, no matter what you have done.

Jes 1:18  Come now, and let us reason together, says Jehovah; though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.

2Pe 3:9  The Lord…, not purposing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God DOES NOT want you in Hell!  He wants you to repent and turn to Jesus.  If you want to give your life to Jesus, please pray this out loud now there where you are right now:

Dear God, I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that He died on the cross, that His blood was shed for my sins and that He arose from the dead. I confess that I have disobeyed your commandments. I ask you to forgive me for these sins. I now ask Jesus to come into my heart. Be my Savior. Be my Lord. Be my soon coming King. I will do my best to obey your teachings as recorded in the Bible. Thank you, in Jesus name. Amen.
